Alyce and Laura met doing what they do best: Star Wars pub trivia! In late 2017, each future podcaster made the rounds in the Chicago trivia circuit. The week after The Last Jedi was released in theaters, Laura took second place to Alyce at a Star Wars trivia in Wicker Park, and the quizmaster introduced them. The ladies claimed their prizes and shut down the bar talking Star Wars over beers for the rest of the night.
In honor of their Star Wars Story, every episode of Force Toast: A Star Wars Happy Hour includes a trivia segment where the hosts try (often successfully) to stump each other. Laura is fairly new to the Star Wars fandom, but what she lacks in history she makes up for in enthusiasm, nay, utter devotion, to Star Wars Rebels. She is a foodie and comedy nerd and would love to tell you where to find the best of both in Chicago, regardless of whether or not you ask. Laura made her Star Wars Movie Trivia Schmoedown debut at SWCC 2019.

Alyce is a dedicated Prequel Enthusiast. She loves her sweet cavapoo, Wednesday, and also enjoys pilates and watching all the trash tv she can in her non-Star Wars spare time. She is an avid reader of the novels, and has been a fan since first seeing the Ewok Adventure movies in the late 80's.

Wednesday is our mascot. She likes to listen to us record and sometimes interrupt by barking at shadows. Other hobbies include eating greenies, farting on Laura, dancing, and snuggling in laps. She has destroyed many a Star Wars toy and sometimes is forced to wear a Princess Leia hoodie. She's also always #DTFT.
